Does XReplyGen post automatically?+−
No. It only inserts a draft into the X composer. You review, edit, and press Post yourself.
Do I need my own API key?+−
Yes for the current public release. Free BYOK accepts any HTTPS OpenAI-compatible chat API key, which stays in browser storage. Hosted trial and Pro managed generation are not currently available on this deployment.
Can XReplyGen translate a reply I already wrote?+−
Yes. Type your source text in the active X reply box, choose a target language other than Auto, and click Localize. XReplyGen returns one locally natural candidate that preserves names, handles, numbers, URLs, and meaning. You review and insert it manually. This capability is available in Free BYOK.
What happens if my provider request fails?+−
XReplyGen shows the error and does not insert an empty result. Check your compatible endpoint, model, provider quota, and network, then try again; your provider controls any model-side billing.
Which model is fastest?+−
For Free, speed depends on the provider and model you bring; a fast non-thinking chat model usually feels best. A managed Pro path is planned but is not currently available on this deployment.
What does Pro unlock?+−
The planned Pro package includes managed generation, two candidates, personal style instructions, past-reply samples, and optional contextual product mentions for one connected account. Checkout and paid entitlement are not currently available.
Does product mention mode keep my account safe?+−
It reduces obvious spam patterns with a 7-day warmup, at least 9 helpful inserted drafts, a 10% cap, a 72-hour cooldown, direct relevance, truthful relationship disclosure, manual review, and no automatic posting. It cannot guarantee account safety: repeated unsolicited replies, irrelevant promotion, or missing commercial disclosure can still violate X rules or local law.
